At ease

I'm working today, in the middle of a 2wk stretch. Normally, I'd be pretty frazzled, tired, weighted down. But no more, at least not lately.

Epiphany, wisdom gained or remembered while visiting far away lands and spending time with my people: It (the big, ubiquitous, all-inclusive It of living) doesn't have to be so hard. No need to hurry, worry, struggle, or resist the way things are. Reasonable and calm effort is enough, "enough" is enough, and moving thru the days at ease with oneself and the world around one has great value.

It's not only ok, but smart and healthy to sit on a handmade bench in the shade, listen to the grass grow and watch the world breathe. How is it we so easily forget that?

Slowing down, doing less. And surprisingly, more seems to fall into place of it's own accord...
